The Leather and shoe Cluster has completed the first phase of the Lean Manufacturing program, which benefitted 5 companies from the group members. The program was conducted in a period of three months, and the most important things that the program focused on within the theoretical training as well as the practical application of it, were the following:

1. Improving the efficiency and production of the factory.
2. Reducing costs.
3. Improving quality and control.
4. Improving the work environment and safety.
