Salfit furniture cluster has well-equipped factories for furniture manufacturing, most of their machines are CNC, but the production process was not well managed for most of the cluster factories whereas.  It’s worth noting that ten companies had participated in Lean Program for waste reduction and enhancing the productivity.

Still one of the main issues for the cluster companies is to track the products in the production line and forward until it reaches the customers, where they may face many problems related to production process or sending the orders for the wrong customer, which leads to additional cost to the production process, wastage of time and additional labor work.

In addition to that, the companies lack of an inventory tracking system to manage and control their inventory.  Therefore, the cluster has used the technology to support solving these kinds of problems by creating a tracking system with specific functions or modules related to production management.
