Because the Furniture sector in Salfit is a junior sector, it mostly a family business where family members are running it. The Cluster members are all SMEs who do business in a simple way since they have limited knowledge about managements and leadership.

However, the companies are still developing from carpentries to small enterprises doing furniture.  Therefore, the cluster has recognized that enterprise owners are in need of training to enhance their managements and leadership skills. Knowing the proper managements and leadership practices and tools is considered important for the competitive development of the cluster.

Moreover, the fact that the cluster members are all family business it seems as a positive feature however in other cases it is a negative feature which limiting the members development.
