Since TAJ Cluster started operating and serving its member in Jerusalem, the Cluster tried to work with all value chain elements in parallel and joint efforts, in order to enhance the cluster members capabilities and support them in their endeavor into opening new market opportunities .
Hand crafts & souvenirs are important elements in this value chain, the niche and original touristic products that are produced in the city represents a beautiful heritage that was in the city for hundreds of years.
TAJ has initiated three big events to help its members in the endeavor to open new markets and seek for business opportunities, therefore the idea of participating in Nazareth Christmas market rose by members.
Nazareth Christmas market:
The annual event that is managed by Nazareth municipality is considered one of the most important Christmas season events in Palestine that attracts thousands of visitors each year. 50 exhibitor participated this year, from different categories and areas.
TAJ Participation:
Eight TAJ members participated under TAJ umbrella in the market, the members produce genuine Palestinian hand crafts.
After the animator's agreement with the municipally, an area was designated for TAJ members under the name of Jerusalem corner which was, as the municipality and visitors said, the most beautiful and arranged corner, where the members made TAJ corner look like a piece of the old city of Jerusalem.
