  1. TAJ Cluster contracted Solutions for Consulting Development Co. to conduct a detailed market research on the domestic tourism market within East Jerusalem & Arab Communities in the 48 Land. The ultimate objective of this assignment was to provide the Tourism & Art Jerusalem Cluster “TAJ”, which is the main beneficiary of the study, with an in-depth understanding of the local tourism market (Jerusalem & Arab communities in 48 land), as well as developing appropriate local tourism packages that can be offered to domestic tourists, Jerusalem and International communities working in Jerusalem and West Bank and Arab communities in 48 land.

Handcrafts road Map: K and K Capabilities was assigned by the Private Sector Development Cluster Project (PSDCP) for the benefit of Tourism and Arts Cluster in Jerusalem (TAJ) to hold a research and a road map to better understand the handicrafts and souvenirs sector in order to empower their market shares and selling opportunities.

The cluster seeks to have a clear understanding of  handicrafts and souvenirs' targeted markets and potential tourists at those markets both local and international. Therefore, this market research and road map identifies the number of shops and manufactures of handicrafts and souvenirs, type and quality of products they sell, their value chain, suppliers and consumers locally and internationally, their behavior toward the tourists, the tourists’ taste and desires, the possibility of new contemporary products, fair trades and expos that are suited to their products, and targeted markets and requirements in order to develop their performance.
